Hello everybody, recently I got myself a Contax TVS at the price of SGD450 from The Camera Workshop in Singapore. I know you can get it at a cheaper rate in your own countries, but too bad, this is Singapore, things are always more expensive 🙁 And I don’t trust e-bay or online stores.
Anyway, I personally prefer buying film stuff from Camera Workshop because they are always slightly cheaper than the rest, including their film cameras. If you are a regular like me, they are willing to give a little discount (for films only), if you asked. The only downside is they don’t have a wide variety of films.
Anyway, yeah, Contax TVS. To be honest, I prefer Contax T2 or T3 but they are very very difficult to hunt, especially in Singapore. I have tried to hunt in Hong Kong but found none. I heard they only reserve the best stuff for their regular customers. Oh well… So right now, I will make do and be contented with Contax TVS. I need to stop window shopping for analogue camera!!
With a new (old) Contax TVS, we went out to test this camera with the Kodak Ektar 100. I would say first few times using a new camera always give me more shitty shots, that’s why it’s called testing. Generally, I have no problem with this camera. It’s a good alternative while still dreaming for my Contax T2 or T3 🙂
Take a look at my photowalk video with Contax TVS here.
Enjoy~
