Bangkok, a travel or short gateaway destination everyone loves. It’s a paradise for shopping, eating, cafe-hopping but not so much of sigh-seeing unless you decide to go further outside of Bangkok.
This trip, I am bringing my parents with me. I am proud to say my flight to Bangkok two-way via Jetstar without check-in luggage costs SGD $80! Such a good deal! I will be flying on Saturday and coming back on Wednesday. So, total I need to take 3 days off work. I might purchase a check-in luggage for my return flight, depending on how much shopping we will do.
As for now, let me write down my packing list for 5 days 4 night to Bangkok, Thailand.
What’s in my backpack:
- 4x clothes
- 3 pairs of pants
- Undergarment
- Toiletries
- Small towel
- Sleep wear
- 4 pairs of socks
- Chargers for Fuji X-pro2 & Xtreme Curve 200 & iPhone
What’s in my Crumpler Dry Red No.2:
- Fujifilm X-pro 2
- Contax TVS with 3 films
- Xtreme Curve 200 action camera
- Passport
- Accessories (pen, notepad, key ,etc)
- Cash & ID
Pack light, walk far
After a few trips of travels, I have finally more or less finalise my comfortable photo-walking list. I will use my Fujifilm X-pro2 with 35mm lens (50mm on full frame equivalent) for anything, Contax TVS for film street, parents and touristy shots, Xtreme Curve 200 for video-ing my trips, iPhone for wider angle tourist shots and video.
I have stick to similar packing list for my Hong Kong trip and it did me a lot of favour in term of being able to walk far. Hence, less is more. With lesser weight, lesser burden, I can walk further and have the energy to make more photos.
Ok, I am so excited for my trip! There will be no partner to help film my behind-the-scene, so I will do what I can to produce a nice story-telling YouTube video.
Stay tuned!
