In this blog post, I am going to showcase some of the photos I took when I visited Prudential Marina Bay Carnival earlier this year.
The film I used, as mentioned in the title, was Fujifilm Premium 400, with my favourite Leica M6. This film was processed and scanned by SHOWA Hong Kong. I really love their scan!

I was so lucky! But that Woody is now sitting at the corner of my sofa, neglected.
The photo above looks slightly overexposed. I think it would be nice if I had a zoom lens or 50mm lens. Too much space in the picture.
Looking at the photo below, one reason I love the texture of film is the vintage look it gives. Do you feel nostalgic? That was my childhood!
I really really love the scan by SHOWA HK. They make the colours of the photos look very fresh and clean.
We went to the Carnival around 3-4pm. There wasn’t crowd so it was a comfortable stroll.
After the carnival, we ride the e-scooter to Satay-By-The-Bay to eat. It was a relaxing day for me. Sometimes life gets too busy to the extent that I forget how to do nothing. My mind is always worrying, thinking, and wondering….far far to the future or the past. Or I would have the impression that doing nothing is time wasting.
I guess all of these are the side-effect of our city culture.
Time to time, I got to remind myself to be present at the moment. Be alive. Take care of mental health and find time to rest and relax. Otherwise, time is going to fly past. 10 years later when I look back, all I will see is that missing gap I spent time living in the future or the past.
Below are the two extra photos from Fujifilm Premium 400. This film is really good. If you have a chance, you should try it out. I got my stocks from Japan!
