My first post-covid travel to Bangkok!
First of all, air tickets are so expensive! Secondly, films are also expensive!
The price for developing and scanning of C-41 films in Bangkok is the best, pricing at 120 Baht, about SGD4+
For this trip, I went to Siam Digital (Around Siam BTS) and PhotoCity Ladphrao (Around Phahon Yothin MRT) to develop my films. There are many films shops in Bangkok but due to my time restrictions, I only have time for these two.
Fujifilm Xtra 400 in Bangkok
This is my last few rolls of Fujifilm Xtra 400 🙁 They are also actually expired. I am so sad Fujifilm decided to stop manufacturing this film!!!
When I brought these films from Japan in 2019, I let the airport security scanned them and when I brought them to Bangkok, I let Changi Airport scanned again lol.
Before covid happened, I travelled to Bangkok quite often. I like the huge variety of films the film shops had as well as their very affordable film developing price. PhotoCity also offers E6 development (not sure about now).
However, for this trip, I visited 3 films shops and their collections of films are so limited and also very expensive. In the past, I would always buy a lot of films from Bangkok because the films were generally cheaper than in Singapore.
Well… I just have to be more mindful of clicking my shutter so I don’t spam the films :p
I am so looking forward to more trips 😀
